Today I started round 2 of P90X! This is something I have been toying with for quite sometime. Fortunately, I have a very inspiring challenge group this month and one of my gals that wanted to do P90X has been so enthusiastic about it, that she made me want to start it up again too! So just over a year after finishing it for the first time, I am starting it over again! I have to say so far it seems harder than it did before. I have been in a different mind set this year as we are trying to make a lot of changes at home. I have also been feeling fatigued in the afternoons, not sure exactly why, but that has gotten a bit better recently, but still sluggish. SO, I have made up my mind that I want to be back on a schedule with a real routine, so I don't have to go to bed wondering which workout I am doing in the morning.
Currently I am just using bands instead of the pull up bar, but believe me I am using proper form and am feeling it in between my shoulder blades already! I feel I am able to give it my all with the bands. For push ups I used the bars and let me say WOW, that is a wild ride. I looked back at my numbers from last time and with those, I am at only about half of what I could do with just my hands. I am excited to see what the week brings and how I feel as I go!
I auto programed my schedule into my workout calendar and it looks like the weekend of my 15th class reunion will be my complete date! Bring IT!
